Our dental surgery – situated in the heart of Mosonmagyaróvár in charming surroundings – gives our patients a warm welcome. Mosonmagyaróvár - our quiet, tranquil provincial town - can be found in Hungary near the western borderland.

Our town is the centre of Szigetköz Natural Park area situated North-East of the highway M1 (E60). 40 minutes’ drive from Vienna (Austria) and only 30 minutes from Bratislava (Slovakia). Mosonmagyaróvár is also called the „town of rivers”, because it is located on the riverside of the Moson-Danube, crossed by the Lajta river and other little millbranches. The historical downtown still guards the memory of the medieval castle and the town. Protected baroque buildings, narrow streets, moody wooden bridges make Mosonmagyaróvár picturesque. The town’s most important touristic attraction is its thermal water, which is an acknowledged medicinal water and ranks among the five of Europe’s most efficient medicinal waters. It contains chlorid and alkaline-hydrocarbon with a considerable amount of iodine and dissolved salt. Its medical water is used for curing locomotor disorders, chronic inflammatory diseases, as well as gastric and intestinal troubles.

In the ’90s a lot of hotels, pensions, apartements and restaurants were built after another. Now there are 15 remarkable accommodations of high quality and about 1000 people can be placed there. During a 2-3 weeks therapy the residing guests of our town get aquainted with our historical traditions, take part in our cultural programmes, get a taste of the gastronomical supply that satisfies every demand.

Mosonmagyaróvár (German: Ungarisch-Altenburg; Latin: Ad Flexum) is a town in northwestern Hungary, county Gyõr-Moson-Sopron. The town lies close to the Austrian and Slovakian border and has a population of 30,200 inhabitants (as of 2004). Mosonmagyaróvár is a combination of the towns Magyaróvár and Moson (German: Wieselburg). The town of Moson was the original capital of Moson County in the Kingdom of Hungary, but the county seat was moved to Magyaróvár during the Middle Ages. The two towns were combined in 1939. Due to the rather complex pronunciation Mosonmagyaróvár is also referred to as Móvár amongst locals and Moson by foreigners. The Hansági Museum can be found in Mosonmagyaróvár.
